Root Canal Treatment

Save your natural tooth and eliminate severe dental pain with our advanced root canal treatments. When dental decay, cracks, or trauma penetrate deep into the center of a tooth, the delicate internal nerve tissue can become inflamed or infected. Left untreated, this can cause intense toothaches and painful dental abscesses.

At Fenix Dental, our root canal therapy focuses entirely on pain relief, infection control, and structural preservation. Utilizing modern endodontic technology and gentle techniques, our highly skilled restorative team cleanses the internal canals of the tooth, immediately removing the source of pain while keeping your real tooth safely in place.

Root Canal Treatment Can Help Treat:

The Root Canal Journey

Despite old dental myths, modern root canal therapy is a straightforward, highly precise, and completely comfortable restorative process. Here is how we expertly treat and save your tooth at Fenix Dental:

During Your Consultation We Can Discuss

The tooth is initially built up with a durable filling. Because root-treated teeth can become slightly brittle over time, we usually recommend crowning the tooth at a later date to lock in its long-term strength.

How Long Does a Root Canal Treated Tooth Last?

With premium clinical execution and proper structural protection, a root-canal-treated tooth can comfortably last for a lifetime. The treatment has an exceptionally high clinical success rate, completely removing the dead tissues while allowing your real root structure to remain anchored firmly in your jawbone.

Root Canal Treatment Results Last?

To ensure optimum durability, we highly recommend protecting the treated tooth with a custom-crafted dental crown. This safeguards the remaining tooth structure from heavy biting forces, keeping your smile intact and functioning perfectly for decades.

Transparent Root Canal Pricing

At Fenix Dental, we maintain clear, open financial transparency for all restorative procedures. Saving a natural tooth via root canal therapy is vastly more cost-effective and conservative than allowing a tooth to be extracted and replacing the resulting gap with a dental implant or bridge.

The Benefits of Root Canal Treatment

Choosing to save your natural tooth with root canal therapy at Fenix Dental offers significant health, functional, and aesthetic advantages:

Instant and Absolute Pain Relief

The primary clinical goal of root canal therapy is to completely eliminate the throbbing pain caused by internal nerve inflammation.

Protects Surrounding Teeth

Halting the deep-seated root infection stops harmful bacteria from spreading into your jawbone or affecting neighboring healthy teeth.

Preserves Your Natural Bite

Keeping your real tooth avoids the structural shifting, jaw misalignment, and bone loss that naturally occur after an extraction.

Completely Painless Procedure

Modern dental techniques ensure that undergoing a root canal feels no different than receiving a standard dental filling.

Indistinguishable Visual Finish

Once the tooth is restored with a custom composite filling or porcelain crown, it blends seamlessly with your natural smile.

Avoids Extraction Gaps

Saves you from the future stress, time, and financial investment required to fill missing spaces with artificial dental bridges or implants.

"Investing in regular dental hygiene appointments is one of the most effective ways to maintain a healthy smile and prevent avoidable dental problems."

• FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

All You Need to Know

Does root canal treatment hurt?

No, root canal treatment does not hurt. The intense pain people associate with root canals comes from the underlying infection itself. The actual procedure immediately relieves this pain by removing the irritated nerve under total local anaesthetic.

No, antibiotics cannot permanently cure a root canal infection. While they can temporarily reduce the swelling, bacteria will remain trapped inside the dead internal tooth chamber until it is physically cleaned out by a dentist.

Once the internal pulp and blood supply are removed, the tooth structure naturally becomes more brittle over time. A custom dental crown covers the entire biting surface, protecting it from cracking under pressure.

Depending on the complexity of the tooth and the number of root canals involved (back molars have more canals than front teeth), treatment is typically completed in one or two comfortable visits lasting 45 to 90 minutes each.
